On 7th of May 2024, Laura V. Krone defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Exploring the climate dependence of deep weathering in the Chilean Coastal Cordillera” at the Freie Universität in Berlin. Laura worked with Prof. von Blanckenburg and Dr. Wittmann-Oelze and other scientists on the project Deep Weathering in the Chilean Coastal Cordillera within the framework of DeepEarthShape. We are delighted with Laura's successful defense and wish her every success in her new, exciting position at Freie Universität Berlin!
