On November 15, 2024, Simon Ring successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled A new, experimentally-grounded model for the evolution of the boron isotope composition of seawater at the Freie Universität in Berlin.

Simon Ring conducted adsorption experiments in Section 3.3 with Prof. Dr. von Blanckenburg and other scientists in the DFG-funded project The Global Boron Cycle.
