Welcome Dr. Menno Fraters in our section!

Menno is starting a post-doctoral scholar on coupling individual numerical models withing a Digital Twin framework. He obtained this doctoral degree in Mantle Dynamics from Utrecht University. In the past he has done work on coupled modelling of Crystal Preferred Orientation and the Geodynamic Modelling of the Cascadia Subduction zone at UC Davis and Global geodynamic modelling at the University of Florida. Menno Fraters is a primary developer and maintainer of the open source community geodynamic modelling ASPECT and of the model builder The Geodynamic World Builder.
