Welcome Tina Neumann in our section!
Tina started as a Marie-Curie PhD researcher within the Doctoral Network TALENTS in our section. She is going to work on rift system modelling focussing on rift success and failure under the supervision of Susanne Buiter and Sascha Brune.
Tina Neumann obtained her Bachelors from Heidelberg University. In her thesis in Physics, she simulated the mergering of double stars (as visualised here by F. Schneider ) and the thermal evolution of the Mars mantle.
In the previous two years, she finished her Master in Astronomy, researching ices in protostellar envelopes, double star interaction onto disks and stellar evolution.
Tina Neumann has a broad, interdisciplinary background in nature science with extensive experience in numerical modelling.
