On October 10 and 11, 2024, the GGOS Days 2024 took place at Wissenschaftsetage im Bildungsforum Potsdam. The number of participants was the largest ever recorded at GGOS Days. There were 60 participants on site - primarily members of the GGOS Governing Board - among which 19 participants were „early career scientists“ (ECS). In addition, there were 182 online participants (59 ECS) representing 21 countries. Themes of the GGOS Days were the GGOS Focus Areas, the collaboration with external partners and stakeholders, standardization, the global geodetic infrastructure, reports from the IAG Services, and the advanced dissemination of geodetic data and products. 43 presentations were delivered which can be accessed online. From the host organization GFZ, 21 participants took part on site or online.
The coordination team, Dr. Laura Sanchez, Martin Sehnal, Dr. Robert Heinkelmann, Dr. Detlef Angermann and Dr. José C. Rodríguez cordially thank all the participants for their active contributions and discussions.
