Function and Responsibilities:

I am a PhD student in the field of geochemistry, working with Prof. Frieldhelm von Blanckenburg and Dr. Hella Wittmann

Research Interests:

  • Cosmogenic nuclides
  • Boundary exchange

Education:

Since 2019: PhD candidate in GFZ, Germany
2016-2019:  M.sc in Marine geology, Tongji University, Shanghai, China
2012-2016: B.sc in Geology, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China

Projects:

The project I am working on is mainly focused on "the geochemical behavior of beryllium at the land-ocean contact". In this project, we aim to identify processes and quantify fluxes that control the delivery of beryllium to open ocean.

Samples employed in this project are provided by Cruise KECES (Key Elements Cycling in the Changjiang-Estuary-Shelf Transect) in September 2019 and METEOR Cruise M147 (Amazon – GEOTRACES) in April and May 2018.
