Inventions

·         Counselling for (potential) inventors

·         Processing of invention reports (acceptance, evaluation, preparation of decision templates for acceptance / approval for the board)

·         Accompanying patent applications from patent filing to granted patents

·         Contact person for inventor remuneration and other questions regarding the employee invention law

·         Patent portfolio management and patent strategy development

·         patent searches

·         trademark issues

·         Contact person for software and data utilization

·         Negotiation of license agreements

Innovation management, technology screening and technology marketing

·         Promotion of internal innovation projects (through the innovation fund to increase the technological maturity of the Helmholtz Association)

·         Accompanying the remuneration of transfer activities through the "team bonus" of the innovation fund

·         Promotion of internships at companies by awarding industrial grants

·         Technology screening in the sections as an element of QUIBS, support through utilization concepts to increase the TRL level

·         Support for validation projects (Helmholtz Validation Fund, VIP + of the BMBF)

·         Support in the organization of industrial workshops

·         Trade fair activities and network building and marketing of technologies
