Function and Responsibilities:

Head of research group  "Combination and VLBI" in Section 1.1 Space Geodetic Techniques

Research Interests:

    * Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI)

    * Geodetic and astrometric applications of VLBI

    * Terrestrial and celestial reference systems and frames, geodetic datum

    * Earth rotation, observation, prediction, modeling

    * Combination of space geodetic techniques et al., e.g. Gaia, ring laser

    * Analysis and modelling of VLBI observations, neutral and ionospheric parameters

    * Development of analysis software for VLBI observables

    * VLBI to artificial radio sources, applications and analyses
