Function and Responsibilities:
Working with Dr. Sergey Lobanov and Dr. Sergio Speziale, I mainly focus on the optical properties (especially refractive index), and the densities of SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-CaO-Na2O silicate glasses under extreme conditions, we aim to give the model for the density of silicate glasses and melts at high pressure in order to give a possible inference for the evolution of structure and composition of mantle.
Research Interests:
- Physical properties of minerals under extreme conditions
- Evolution of structures and compositions of mantle
- Phase transitions of composite molecular systems inside planets
- New materials under high pressure
Career:
- November 2024-Present: Postdoc, GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, Potsdam
Education:
- September 2017-June 2024:Doctor of Natural Science in Physics, Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China
Dissertation for Doctor's Degree: "The Study of Phase Transition of Hydrogen, Helium and Ice Composite Systems inside Planets under Extreme Conditions"
- September 2013-June 2017:Bachelor of Natural Science in Applied Physics, Department of Modern Physics, University of Science and Technology of China
