Function and Responsibilities:

Visiting PhD student  in Section 3.5 Interface Geochemistry

Research Interests:

I am interested in the geochemical behavior of rare earth elements (REE) during microbe-mineral interaction. I conduct bio-weathering experiments with native microbial strains from the regolith-hosted REE deposits to investigate the microbial effects on REE mobilization and fractionation during the weathering of typical REE-containing rocks and minerals. My research work at GFZ focuses on microbially mediated iron (oxyhydr)oxides formation/transformation and associated REE behavior. Researchgate
