As part of various knowledge transfer projects on the topic of satellite remote sensing, target group-oriented live online training courses on the use of freely available satellite data were developed. Training needs were identified in close cooperation with the users and basic knowledge was offered in the form of interactive digital training formats.

After the live formats were completed, the training courses were prepared for independent learning and made available on the FERN.Lern platform. The platform contains for example tutorials, learning videos, interactive graphics and manuals:
