Horizon 2020  will run for the next seven years from 2014-2020. With Horizon 2020, EU research and innovation are summarized in a single programme for the first time. It integrates:

• the European framework programme,
• the programme for the competitiveness of enterprises and SMEs (CIP)
• as well as the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
