The monograph „Stratigraphie von Deutschland“ was initiated in 1984 by Willy Ziegler from Frankfurt am Main. Between 1995 und 2008 ten volumes were published by the Deutsche Stratigraphische Kommission (www.stratigraphie.de). Among many others, articles on magnetostratigraphy and time scale calibration are available for the volumes Rotliegend I (1995), Late Carboniferous (2005) and Early Carboniferous (2006). It is intended to publish the volumes Rotliegend II, Zechstein, Buntsandstein and Muschelkalk latest by 2011, including articles on magnetostratigraphy and time scale calibration.
