As part of the ProSalz project, GFZ Section 4.2 is conducting high-resolution underground seismic surveys. A natural underground cavern structure is to be investigated along two measuring profiles. Furthermore, measurements will be carried out on a small artificial cavern in an underground salt pillar in order to observe simulated cavern typical processes.
