• Topcon GB1000 GPS Receiver as rover
• Trimble 4000SE GPS Receiver as base station
• Buoy body constructed by Behrenswerft in Hamburg

Application

• The GPS buoys are used as a differential GPS, whereas the data of the rover (GPS buoy) will be corrected with the data of the fixed positioned base station.
• We use this system to estimate the water level and the flow direction in the river and floodplain.
