MOSES
GFZ Section 5.4 is involved in MOSES with the modules "Monitoring of water storage changes" and "Water and sediment monitoring" in the event chains "Hydrological extremes" and "Heat waves". We aim at monitoring catchment storage dynamics and runoff generation during flood and drought events by terrestrial gravimetry with absolute and relative gravimeters, soil moisture monitoring with Cosmic Ray Sensors among others, and water level and discharge monitoring.
