In the project  Advanced Remote Sensing (ACROSS), which is set up and maintained as a regional early warning system in Kyrgyzstan with the resident Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences in Bishkek (CAIAG),the power supplies were set up for 18 seismic permanent stations. The power units consist of 2 solar racks, 2 batteries and a wiring box. The box contains the terminals for the battery and solar cables, solar controllers and routers for the online connection of the stations. The supply has a dual structure and works even if a solar rack or a battery fails. The production of the solar racks and the partial processing of the wiring boxes was carried out in cooperation with GFZ Zentralwerkstatt.
