The MINE project intends to develop and implement tools to monitor mining areas and underground reservoirs, by means of continuous time series analysis and inversion. Thereby, the modeling focuses on fracturing processes and stress field evolution on a very local scale.

The project is funded by GEOTECHNOLOGIEN, a geoscientific research and development programme, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Research Foundation (DFG).
