VisMaster - Mastering the Information Age, European-Coordination-Action-Projekt im Bereich Visual Analytics

VisMaster is a European Coordination Action Project on Visual Analytics. This young research discipline combines automatic data analysis with interactive visualization to support the analysis of ever enlarging data sets from various sources and thereby the reasoning and decision process. Goal of the coordination project is to build a group of researchers and to develop a research agenda. As part of the geovisualization group, which formulates requirements from a geoscientific view, we organized a workshop on user requirements at the GFZ. Further, we co-authored the book „Mastering the Information Age – Solving Problems with Visual Analytics".
