On Wednesday, 4 July 2018, we are planning an excursion to the UNESCO biosphere reserve Spreewald. The region is famous for its unique natural landscape with an extensive network of small rivers. It is located about 100km southeast of Berlin.

We will start in the morning from GFZ campus. A bus will take us to Burg/Spreewald where we will spend the whole day enjoying the landscape during a boat trip, and tasting some of the traditional gherkins. Lunch and a coffee break is provided.

For accompanying persons: you are also able to participate in this excursion. We kindly ask you to pay 70€/person, preferably via bank transfer.  Please inform me if you do not participate in the workshop but like to attend the excursion.
