Function and Responsibilities:

  • EnMAP product validation (L1B, L1C and L2A)
  • automatic processing chain for airborne hyprespectral and lidar scanners (HyPrepAir: radiometric, geometric and atmospheric pre-processing)
  • fusion of airborne Lidar and Hyperspectral scanners
  • direct georeferencing of pushbroom scanners

Research Interests:

  • hyperspectral and lidar remote sensing
  • sensor technology / sensor fusion
  • image and signal processing (photogrammetry, deep learning, computer vision, image recognition)
  • geomorphometry
  • digital surface model (DSM), digital terrain model (DTM), digital object model (DOM)
