• We compile, analyze, and showcase GFZ’s institutional memberships and network relations emphasizing their scientific and strategic significance.  In addition, we accompany the initiation of new memberships.

Research Network for Geosciences in Berlin and Potsdam - Geo.X 

• The SYN team runs the Head Office of the Geo.X Research Network for Geosciences in Berlin and Potsdam - Geo.X.
• We actively communicate and support Geo.X activities and offerings, connecting GFZ with its university and non-universities partners in the Geo.X network.

NFDI4Earth

• Within the National Research Data Infrastructure for Earth System Sciences (NFDI4Earth) we coordinate the NFDI4Earth Academy, the training network to bridge Earth System and Data Sciences.
