Function and Responsibilities:
Research scientist and a member of the EnMap science team working on the application of EnMap hyperspectral satellite data in geology and resource exploration.Research Interests:
Saeid applies spectral remote sensing at multiple scales (close-range to orbital) and multiple wavelengths (VNIR–SWIR–LWIR) for mineral and energy resource (petroleum/geothermal) exploration, geologic studies, and environmental monitoring.Education:
M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from AmirKabir University of Technology (Iran).
Ph.D. in Geologic Remote Sensing from the University of Campinas (Brazil).

EnMAP mission (2021-2023):
Development and validation of algorithms and techniques for hyperspectral data processing and mineral mapping.
Applications of EnMAP satellite data in geology and resource exploration.

ESA - CHIME (2022-2025):
Responsible for L2b mineral processor of the Copernicus Hyperspectral Imaging Mission for the Environment (CHIME).
