The GFZ has been cooperating successfully with partners from industry for many years. In funded joint projects and other third-party funded projects, such as EU projects (Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe), in funding programs of the BMBF (e.g. Geo:N) or the BMWi (e.g. Central Innovation Program ZIM). Together with companies, we thus develop and validate new technologies and processes. In the context of contract research, we work on topics of our customers, whether industry, consulting or start-ups. Likewise, we can offer services on a contractual basis. The GFZ is interested in long-term partnerships and the establishment and expansion of company networks, for example within the framework of our two Helmholtz Innovation Labs or other application platforms.
