Summer vacations begin in Berlin, Brandenburg and Hamburg on Thursday. At the same time, traveling will become easier again despite the pandemic. However, quite a number of vacation regions carry the risk of earthquakes or tsunamis. These events cannot be predicted, but there are ways to prepare for them. On its website, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences offers up-to-date earthquake information as well as information on what to do in the event of an earthquake.
