Theresa Blume, working group leader in GFZ section Hydrology, has recently been nominated as Chief Executive Editor of HESS ('Hydrology and Earth System Sciences').

HESS is the open-access hydrology journal of the European Geosciences Union EGU. HESS was established in 1997 and is one of the leading journals in hydrology. Theresa Blume has served as a Topical Editor for HESS since 2012 and as Executive Editor since 2017. Her research focusses on hydrological processes from the hillslope to the landscape scale. (jz)
