Wissenschaftliche Interessen:

My scientific interests primarily focus on the interaction between mantle convection and plate tectonics, with a particular emphasis on the dynamics of subduction initiation and rifted margins. I integrate the analysis of various geophysical datasets—such as gravity, magnetic, seismic, and heat flow data—with numerical thermo-mechanical experiments to explore these processes.
