Wissenschaftliche Interessen:

Seismic time series (or seismograms) record a rich variety of seismic signals coming from fault zones, volcanoes, glaciers, humans, animals, and so on. I am interested in exploring continuous seismograms and discovering overseen or hidden patterns with methods of signal and array processing and machine learning. This also often leads me to unusual applications in the field of seismology. I also try to find novel ways to perceive seismic time series, which help scientists to overview large datasets.
