Wissenschaftliche Interessen:

Magmatic rocks mineralogy, geothermal exploration crystalline rocks, hydrothermal alteration detection, clay mineralogy.

X-ray powder diffraction.

Rock mineral interpretation.

Thin sections analyses.

Karriere:

2000-2006: Master degree in Geology/Mineralogy  at “La Sapienza University” Rome Italy.
2004: Semester exchange (Erasmus Program) at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
2006-2009: PhD at Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum-Potsdam Germany. Title of the PhD Thesis: “Water in coesite and wadsleyite: quantification, incorporation mechanism and effect on the phase stability".
2010 until today: Research scientist (Post Doc) at GFZ Potsdam.

Werdegang / Ausbildung:

1999: Abroad exchange year in Midland high-school Midland, USA.
2001: Atmospheric science summer classes at UCLA, University of Los Angeles, USA
2004: Semester exchange (Erasmus Program) at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
